The 15th Gyeongsan Jujube Festival is held in Gyeongsan, which grows about 30% of Korea’s jujubes. Gyeongsan jujubes, once offered to the royal court, are sweet and sun-ripened. Under the theme “Royal Tribute Gyeongsan Jujube Food Festa,” you can buy fresh jujubes and try a range of jujube-based foods. The program includes a talk concert on poet Jang Seok-ju’s poem “A Single Jujube,” a trot concert, a dinner show, traditional Jungbang farmers’ music, a trot musical play and band performances, along with a market for local farm produce.
