About
As the cool autumn breeze arrives, Garak Market’s signature autumn festival, the 3rd Garak Oktoberfest, opens at Garak Mall with good food, craft beer and plenty to enjoy on an autumn night. It runs for three days, Friday October 16 to Sunday October 18, 2026, from 4 pm to 10 pm daily at the Sky Park on the 3rd floor of Garak Mall. Entry is free; you pick and pay at the beer and food booths you like. Three highlights: craft breweries from across Korea gather in one place, from light, crisp lagers to rich ales and fruity beers. A special snack zone run by Garak Mall merchants serves dishes cooked on the spot with fresh seasonal ingredients, from buttered grilled abalone to fried chicken. And there is plenty to watch and do, starting with a parade on opening day, plus busking, a participatory game show called “Garak Orakgwan” and prize draws. Getting there is easy: Exit 2-1 of Garak Market Station (Subway Lines 3 and 8) connects directly to the Sky Park. The open-air seating is perfect for an autumn night out, but it can get chilly after sunset, so bring a light jacket.
