About
Gimhae was a leading production site of buncheong ware, the stoneware of the early Joseon dynasty, and this festival carries on and reinterprets that tradition. Now in its 31st year, it features exhibitions and sales of ceramics, pottery-making experiences and potter demonstrations. You can see the distinctive work of local potters in one place and shape clay yourself. There are also activities, performances and events for children and families. (Some food details are from the 2025 festival and are being updated.)
